C) É o inverso: a felicidade é breve. Resolução comentada do VaiConcursos. Gabarito disponível Gabarito disponível Completar a lacuna com a forma verbal do segundo condicional. A oração com "if people asked" (passado simples) pede, na oração principal, "would + verbo base". Por isso o correto é "would be" (segundo condicional, situação hipotética). A) "will be" é do primeiro condicional e não combina com "asked". C) "would had had" é forma inexistente. D) "would have had" é do terceiro condicional e exigiria "if people had asked". Referência: Second Conditional: if + past simple, would + verbo base. Resolução comentada do VaiConcursos. A) "people asked" é substantivo + verbo. Resolução comentada do VaiConcursos. Gabarito disponível Gabarito disponível Interpretação: o sono e o desempenho no futebol. Resolução comentada do VaiConcursos. Resolução comentada do VaiConcursos. Resolução comentada do VaiConcursos. Resolução comentada do VaiConcursos. Gabarito disponível Uso do arco duplo para calcular 1 − cos 2x. Como cos 2x = 1 − 2sen²x, tem-se 1 − cos 2x = 2sen²x. Com cos x = −0,8, sen²x = 1 − 0,64 = 0,36, logo 2·0,36 = 0,72. A (0,36) é só sen²x, sem o fator 2. C e D: vêm de erros no uso de cos 2x = 2cos²x − 1. Referência: Trigonometria: fórmulas do arco duplo. Resolução comentada do VaiConcursos. Gabarito disponível Gabarito disponível Média ponderada de notas de meninos e meninas. A soma total é 40·8 = 320. Os 10 meninos somam 10·7 = 70. As 30 meninas somam 320 − 70 = 250, e a média delas é 250/30 ≈ 8,3. Resolução comentada do VaiConcursos. Resolução comentada do VaiConcursos.

Kids can show anxiety symptoms early on
Kristen Rogers - CNN
Excessive clinginess to parents can be a sign a child is struggling with an anxiety disorder, experts have said.
(...)
Anxiety disorders are marked by persistent and excessive worries. While someone with generalized anxiety might worry about various everyday things, someone with social anxiety typically has ‘intense or persistent fears or worries about being judged negatively by other people’, said Rachel Busman, a New York-based clinical psychologist and cognitive and behavioral consultant ______ specialized in anxiety.
One fifth of children worldwide have anxiety symptoms that are clinically elevated, or worse than what is considered normal, according to a 2011 study.
Anxiety symptoms can be difficult to spot, but the sooner parents notice signs, the earlier mental health professionals ‘can help parents and kids understand what is happening’, said Dr. Rebecca Baum, a professor of general pediatrics and adolescent medicine at the University of North Carolina.
Children with anxiety might begin to avoid anxiety-inducing situations. This behavior can facilitate a cycle that makes their fears bigger and bigger.

How sleep transformed professional football
A few decades ago, professional footballers spent their nights partying. Now, they are much more aware of the benefits of a good night’s sleep.
The change began in the mid-1990s, when mattress salesman Nick Littlehales contacted the manager of the Manchester United football team, Alex Ferguson, asking whether he had ever considered how sleep affected performance on the pitch. Interested, Ferguson arranged for Littlehales to give a presentation to his team.
Gradually, club managers began to pay more attention to scientific sleep research, and for good reason. (...)
Now, many teams and players are making an effort to improve their sleep patterns, using various means. James Milner from Manchester City found it hard to sleep after evening games, so would play computer games into the early hours. As a result, he was too tired to train the following morning. Since these interventions are cheap and effective, even the less well-known teams can benefit. (...)
Whereas in the past, playing after a party and a few hours’ sleep was seen as a badge of honour, a good sleep is now considered an essential part of performance.
